The Captain Cook Brewery
Here at The White Swan we have our very own micro brewery based at the back of the premises which is responsible for at 6 Captain Cook ales always available on the bar at any given time. We also have regular guest ales, most notably from Truefitt brewery amongst many other breweries from all parts of the UK.
Our Brewery was established in 1999 by Brian Skipp (sadly passed away in 2004), we are a 4 barrelled plant brewing up to 42 Firkins a week in order to supply local and national brew houses and pubs, with draught ales, bottled beers and seasonal ales.
Each year we host 2 Beer festivals. The last weekend of October and Easter weekend Fri – Mon featuring over 50 Real Ales and a great range of pies & cheeses.
