Located in a prominent position on the western entrance into the High Street, the White Swan was probably built in the early 1700’s as are the cottages nearby on the same side of the street.

Have visited this Brew House pub many times for the real ale brewed on the premises with ‘Slipway Ale’ a favourite. This weekend was a beer festival with about 30 beers to choose from!!!! Real ale heaven but I still love ‘Slipway’Glimpsy of Seaham

A lovely pub with a warm welcome in more ways than one – I love the log fire on a cold wintry night! The décor is excellent – the pub is attractive and well used by locals. I particularly like the floral displays, hanging baskets cared for throughout the summer. Friendly welcome and always a good atmosphere. What more can one say?Judith of Stokesley
